Season of change about to begin for men’s Viking hockey

The puck is about to be dropped on a season of change for Walled Lake Central Hockey. The first major change that has already began to take effect is the coaching staff. Science teacher and baseball coach Ken LaCross will be taking over for Coach Gary Quitiquit who has retired. Along with LaCross will be two assistant coaches who are in the process of being finalized. The two prospects for assistant are a WLC alumnus and a WLN alumnus who played in high school and after.

Galaxy Note 7 shocks owners with explosions

If there are two things that social media likes as of now, it’s explosions and clowns. And unfortunately for Samsung, they are no exception to this rule. As of the Galaxy Note 7’s release date on August 19 of this year, these devices have been of more use as bombs rather than phones. Hundreds of accidents have been reported with many more gone undocumented. Naturally, Samsung issued a recall for these dangerous devices and sent replacement models to those experiencing “issues”.

September 11 a memory for some, a lesson for all

Two twin buildings were struck down in a cloud of smoke and fear. Screams pierced the silence that surrounded the fall. Ambulance and police sirens zoomed through the streets to help the survivors. Phones rang off the hook from one American household to another in order to find their loved ones. This was September 11th, 2001.
