Seniors Elena Harroun, Miriam Tolston, and Brendan Whitworth are among 125 of the nation’s top band members to be selected by by the National Association of Music Education for inclusion in the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band. These seniors were honored during a special ceremony on September 25 in the auditorium, attended by family and friends.

The Taste of the Lakes fundraiser took the Lakes area by storm on Tuesday, September 20 at Edgewood Country Club as over 15 restaurants joined forces to provide a strolling dinner to attendees and to raise money and awareness for the Lakes Area Youth Assistance (LAYA) program.

If there are two things that social media likes as of now, it’s explosions and clowns. And unfortunately for Samsung, they are no exception to this rule. As of the Galaxy Note 7’s release date on August 19 of this year, these devices have been of more use as bombs rather than phones. Hundreds of accidents have been reported with many more gone undocumented. Naturally, Samsung issued a recall for these dangerous devices and sent replacement models to those experiencing “issues”.
