After more than 1.8 million people “called on the British government to cancel the state visit because it would prove embarrassing for the queen” via a petition, the British Parliament debated for three hours on February 20 about President Donald Trump’s visit to the United Kingdom. Most conservatives lawmakers believed that President Trump should visit while liberals believed the opposite.

Siegrist has started a new club here at Walled Lake Central, The Young Republicans. and aims to ready students for taking political action within the community through a wide variety of politically based events.
America is one of the few countries to legalize abortion and allow women to choose what to do with a pregnancy. This right, first guaranteed 41 years ago by the Supreme Court’s decision in the landmark Roe v. Wade case, however, has been a source of cultural and political tension for many decades now. This human right is being questioned now more than ever which is making women fear that this right can be taken away from them at any moment.

Graduation is upon us and with that the senior slideshow must be created. The senior slideshow is a presentation that is shown every year at Senior Celebration. It contains one baby picture and one senior picture of every graduate and is a great way to see how everyone has changed in the last 18 years.

Now that the inauguration for Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States, is over, his duties as the leader of America awaits him. In the past few weeks, Trump has already issued several executive orders and met with leaders of other nations to discuss economic relationships. Several of the executive orders have been controversial and have led to protest across the country.
