Everything is a balancing act

At this age, teenagers want to be able to make money on their own in order to go out and have fun with their friends. Certain students are eager to be the best they can be in a sport, whether they are just having fun or searching for scholarships. It is also important for students to be involved in a few of the clubs offered by WLC in order to maintain a social life, meet new people, and have new experiences. Imagine taking part in all of the above and keeping up with school work at the same time! Sounds tough, doesn’t it?

Different opinions form after presidential election

2016 brought one of the most divisive presidential elections in our country’s history. After the results of the election were announced, it got even worse. Our country became divided: friendships ended and family members stopped talking to each other. Bridges were burned and gaps were created among Americans over one thing: differing opinions.

Mock Trial kicks off new year

Mock trial, a club where students are able to be attorneys and defendants while imitating a criminal or civil trial, kicked off its second season with a meeting on Tuesday, September 27. After an inaugural season that ended with 8th place at regionals, the group has big plans for this year.
