On Wednesday January 11 the WLC Cheer team had a competition at Salem against Salem, Milford, and John Glenn. Although the team came in fourth they were not disappointed.

As the temperature starts to drop and the snow starts to fall, students from all three Walled Lake high schools come together as a team to compete and shred the slopes. This team is known as Boardercross.
One team that’s been hard at work this winter sports season is the men’s varsity swim team. The season is in full swing and their record currently stands at one win against Milford and one loss against Howell with lots more meets to come, including the Walled Lake Invitational this Saturday, where they will take on swimmers and divers from all Walled Lake Schools, Lakeland, Milford, Howell, and U of D.

This year, finals look a little bit different for Walled Lake Central students. Instead of the usual, having first semester finals closely following winter break, students have a few extra weeks to prepare. This year, finals start on January 25 and end on the 27.
