Men’s swimming update

One team that’s been hard at work this winter sports season is the men’s varsity swim team. The season is in full swing and their record currently stands at one win against Milford and one loss against Howell with lots more meets to come, including the Walled Lake Invitational this Saturday, where they will take on swimmers and divers from all Walled Lake Schools, Lakeland, Milford, Howell, and U of D.

Trump assembles cabinet

With President Elect Donald Trump set to be inaugurated in just over a week, he has begun to assemble his cabinet. While most of his appointments seem like normal candidates for their designated roles, other have left the media and voters confused.

Flint without water for over a year

Flint’s water is still not safe. It has been two years since the issue was recognized and although water levels are improving, residents are still choosing bottled water over tap. It’s important to remember that Flint still has a lot to improve on until people are able to feel safe about using their water.

Finals are quickly approaching

This year, finals look a little bit different for Walled Lake Central students. Instead of the usual, having first semester finals closely following winter break, students have a few extra weeks to prepare. This year, finals start on January 25 and end on the 27.
