Walled Lake Central’s varsity volleyball team won the Kensington Lake Athletic Association districts against their rivals Walled Lake Northern with a score of  3-1.  

Junior Ashley McGee, was the player of the game with 4 sets played, 7 kills, and a .545 hit percentage. Not far behind was junior Aysha Hood, with 4 sets played, 7 kills, and a .529 hitting percentage and junior Mion Weldon who contributed 4 sets played, 12 kills, and 3 total blocks. Mion expressed her feelings about her team during that game “I’m grateful for my team coming out with the win when I felt like I could have contributed more to the team’s victory.”
