Recently, senior Cooper Dundas has taken a big step in his baseball career by committing to Western Michigan University.
Dundas’ interest in attending Western Michigan began at the start of his junior year when he went to the Western Michigan prospect camp. Following the camp, Dundas wrote a letter to Western explaining himself and his interest. Western was not the only college that reached out to him. Northwood and Oakland University were also giving him offers.”I chose Western Michigan because I have family connections in Kalamazoo and the team and coaches at Western treat you like family”.
Cooper explained how surprised and grateful he was when he was offered to play. Dundas started pitching at nine years old and continues training six days a week.”I am a little nervous because I’m starting over but excited for the new opportunities” said Dundas.
