Walled Lake Central has turned over a new page with the new Page Turners club. Page Turners is a new book club that was created by juniors Rylee Hayes and Mimi Anagli and sophomore Lily Byrnes.
The Fall Fashion trends are in and if you are wondering how to amp up your fashion this season look to Seniors Avery Fay and Olivia Bradow as they show off some cute new trends.
At this age, teenagers want to be able to make money on their own in order to go out and have fun with their friends. Certain students are eager to be the best they can be in a sport, whether they are just having fun or searching for scholarships. It is also important for students to be involved in a few of the clubs offered by WLC in order to maintain a social life, meet new people, and have new experiences. Imagine taking part in all of the above and keeping up with school work at the same time! Sounds tough, doesn’t it?
When the beginning of the end of summer begins, most underclassmen are preparing to enjoy their last few days of summer, while quite a few seniors are preparing college applications and getting FAFSA information together.
Love them or hate them, earbuds are the school supply that every freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior made sure to start the school year with.
Have to watch movies during the Halloween season
Nintendo is switching things up with the announcement of their new console, the Nintendo Switch. At the E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) conference back in June, Nintendo announced a new console to come March 2017 with a working title called the “Nintendo Nx” and that was the extent of the information. Recently, a trailer was finally dropped along with the reveal of an actual title, the Nintendo Switch .
It is very hard to tell a group of students what to do and what not to do. Especially if you have no background or knowledge of the events that come along with bad decisions. Attending the Steered Straight assembly at Walled Lake Central was an eye opening event for many students who took in what the speaker was saying.
When you picture Fall, you might think about cider mills and donuts; but don’t forget about the Haunted Houses. Every Fall there is Halloween and every Halloween there are Haunted Houses. What’s better than cold weather, falling leaves and being scared?
