By Kayla Womack

Tutus will be up in the air as the juniors and senior compete are in the Walled Lake Central powderpuff game this Monday, October 21.  By the look on the girls’ faces, they are ready and excited for the big high school event.

“I’m ready to put in that work,” senior Simone Stephens said. “I’m ready for the seniors to beat the juniors again and to see what we can do on the field.”

Juniors on the other hand seem to be a little more confident this year. “I’m so ready for the game” said junior Vanessa Booth. “It’s going to be really fun and exciting. I’m a little scared of getting hurt, but I think we as a team will be ready.”

Walled Lake Central is also using this game as a prom fundraiser for the senior class.

The girls are ready for a showdown. With weeks of practice and mental preparedness it should be a good game!
