Members of Central’s philharmonic strings and the symphony orchestra recently performed in Halloween costume for the Walnut Creek Middle School eighth graders as part of their Halloween Spectacular. The concert took place on October 22 at Northern High School.
The orchestras were dressed up in creative Halloween costumes. Some of the costumes wore included robots, animals, and vampires.
“It was a fun to see what the other kids dress up as for Halloween and play fun Halloween music” said senior Kayla Womack.
The different orchestras performed some Halloween themed pieces such as a piece called Bagatelle. They also performed some dark, creepy songs like Creatures and Hunted Carousel.
“The orchestras entertained the large crowd and everybody seemed to enjoy it,” said Womack.
