The annual PTSA Reflections contest is back and ready for new talent. This year’s theme is “Believe, Dream, Inspire” and all entries are due Wednesday, November 27.
“[PTA Reflections Chair Karen Semaan and I] approved posters and flyers to be posted around the school,” Principal Charles Morgan said.
Contestants can display the theme through six ways; dancing, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and visual arts. Find your strongest area and submit an entry.
Awards will be given in local, state and national levels.
“We have sent an email to the teachers in the building and the English department is supporting the work through class assignments,” Morgan said.
Everyone is highly encouraged to submit an entry. English teacher Marisa Cronk and other teachers are making her students enter for a grade.
“[Students] value their teachers’ opinions regarding their skills, whether they be academic, athletic or artistic,” PTSA Student Reflections Chairperson Karen Semaan said.
This is a fun, creative way to get involved with them school and share your talents with all of Central.
“I don’t know what I am going to do yet, but I will figure it out,” said sophomore Paige Myers.
