With nomination forms already submitted the selection of Central’s Teacher of the Year is close at hand.
The nominees were chosen by teachers, parents, or anyone associated with a teacher and submitted to Principal’s Secretary Lesley Drilich. “I go through them all and send anonymous nomination forms to one of the other high schools because everyone is being considered,” saidDrilich.
Every school in the district will select a teacher and that person`s name will be submitted to the district committee. When all of the names are removed from the forms, only the principal will have knowledge of the final candidate.
The official honor will be bestowed upon the winning teacher February 6, 2014 at a staff meeting.
