Walled Lake Western presented Shrek: The Broadway Musical from November 14 through November 24. The musicality, dancing, singing, and acting was phenomenal while crowd shared a good laugh from the characters and scenes.

The make-up and costumes were unbelievable, designed by parents and student/teacher volunteers. Covered in green foundation, the ogres, Shrek and Fiona, played by senior Carter Jones and senior Rachel Zack, both managed to sing delightfully and perform to their fullest potential.

As the show closed November 24, cast and crew members signed pamphlets and said their final goodbyes to the endless rehearsals together. The friendly bond between cast members was prevalent. The audience applauded with amazement and is looking forward to next year’s production.
