Fitzgerald and flappers, glitter and glam, the Roaring 20s takeover WLC prom. Seniors chose The Great Gatsby as the theme for the most memorable night of the year. “The Great 2014” takes place on May 22at Farmington Hills Manor, and doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Seniors Erica Katz , Aubri Mason, and Kaila Baroff are in charge of coordinating this event. “We have an awesome decorator, party coordinator, and a great DJ,” said Baroff. “It’s going to be very luxurious and extravagant and will most definitely be a lot of fun,” Baroff explained.
Voting for prom king and queen will occur during check-in. Dinner will be served at 8 p.m. sharp. Staff asks that you not arrive fashionably late because people arriving late will forfeit courses already served without a refund.
Music and dancing follows at 8:30 p.m, and the dessert table opens at 9 p.m.
The king and queen announcement will happen at 9:45 p.m. The dance will conclude at 11 p.m.
This is one of the last school experiences to be shared by students in the Class of 2014. Get ready to have the time of your life and make lasting memories.
