Just coming back from Mid-winter Break, students have lots of fun stories to share with their friends from the long weekend, including the many things that made them laugh.
The famous restaurant Shake Shack finally opened its first ever Michigan location in downtown Detroit on Thursday, February 23. The new restaurant is nothing less than amazing and has the city and nearby suburbs going crazy as they make their way to Campus Martius to enjoy some of the wide variety of burgers and shakes.
Spring break is approaching and the seniors at Walled Lake Central are counting down the days until they get to go off on vacation with their friends. Many of them, especially girls, have started to get in shape for the warm weather.
There were many high-end clothing lines featured upon those walking the red carpet at the 59th Annual Grammys last week.
Many students at Central own pets such as dogs and cats and maybe a fish or two. But a select few own some pets that the average person would not have.
“I get up so early that I leave my milk in the cupboard and my cereal in the fridge, and the next hour I’m taking a test,” said junior Jack Gibson.
Everyone cries once in awhile. It’s a helpful mechanism to get your feelings out. There are tears of joy, sadness, and even anger. The staff at The Call went out and asked students and staff of Central about the last time they cried.
The varsity men’s basketball team played an amazing game at Walled Lake Northern on Friday, February 10. The game finished with a close score of 52-50, giving the Central boys another win. The boys are fighting very hard as their season end rapidly approaches.
A Block, B Block, C Block, the infamous hour and some change class period days. We love them, we hate them, they’re block days.
Spring break is from April 1st to April 10th this year and many students already have it all planned out. Whether it’s staying home, traveling to another state, or even going out of the country, people are already getting excited.
