Come one, come all. This year’s second German Club meeting, to be held Thursday, October 24 in B203, will include German speaking, creative decorating, and lots of tasty treats. Frau Robinson and the German Club officers have planned an afternoon of Halloween festivities for the upcoming holiday. The meeting will begin at 2:45 PM and last for approximately an hour.

“Our next meeting is going to incorporate lots of Halloween activities,” said Event Coordinator and junior Hallie Antoon, “We’re planning on just another fun, after-school event to bring all the German classes together for laughs and good times.”

The event coordinators, Antoon and sophomore, Erica Meyers will supply undecorated, homemade cupcakes for members to frost, sprinkle, and design. Also on the agenda, the classic pretzels with Nutella and festive music.

With five different levels of German classes available, members range from German 1 to AP German.

“Last meeting we had a good amount of members come,” said Co-President and senior Reid Furmidt, “The Halloween meeting will grab the attention of more members.”

Outside of the classroom, the German Club intends to host many field trips this year; Long’s Cider Mill, Frankenmuth, and Halloweekend’s Cedar Point trip with French and Spanish Club are in the making for this semester.

“We look forward to planning more events for club members to enjoy,” said Antoon.
