Thanksgiving is a time when you and your loved ones come together to enjoy a lovely dinner, each other’s company, and maybe even watch some good football.
Others may have different traditions for Thanksgiving like twenty-seven year old Sharita Smith. She spent Thanksgiving morning all bundled up with her children and girlfriend at the Thanksgiving Parade watching all the different floats come down the street. She stated,“I had such a great time with my loved ones; my kids and honey really enjoyed themselves and that’s all that matter.”
Lawrence Lyons (12) of Cass Technical High School ate dinner with his mother and her boyfriend first before heading out to get plates at other people’s homes. Senior Faith Jackson said,“ it was really good seeing her grandmother and helping her mom cook.”
