Temperatures are expected to drop in the next week, which means snow should be expected any day now! Winter is an exciting time for Central students, and the snow coming has been anticipated for weeks.
Of course, snow is a sure sign that the holiday season is right around the corner. “I’m looking forward to it snowing soon because it doesn’t feel like Christmas time until there’s snow on the ground,” said sophomore Josh Rubin.
Snow also provides for endless activities outside, and also as an excuse to stay in. “I am excited to go sledding, make igloos, have snowball fights, and make snow angels,” said sophomore Rachel Kent. “But when I’m not outside, I will probably be drinking hot chocolate by the fire with my friends and family.”
Although most students can’t wait for the snow to fall, there are still people that could definitely go without the snowy weather. Snow can cause for bad road conditions and the weather in Michigan can be pretty brutal. “The snowy weather has never failed to cancel my January birthday plans because of the bad roads,” said sophomore Isabel Schantz.
Overall, the snowy weather is an exciting topic for students here at Central, and it will be here before we know it!
