Every year as the holidays quickly approach, so does the stress of buying the perfect gifts for the ones you love. Although you may already have to buy a gift for your boyfriend, girlfriend, mom, dad, and best friend, you cannot forget about your favorite furry friend.

After running an informal poll to ask if people bought their pets holiday gifts, The Call discovered that of the 113 people that partook in it, 90 said that they do buy them gifts. (These results are not representative of any population.) Junior Nathan Adkins, believes that people that don’t buy their pets gifts don’t deserve pets. It’s safe to assume his pup will have a gift under the tree this year.

One thing that dog owners may be interested in gifting their dogs is a thing called Barkbox. It’s a monthly subscription that comes with 4-6 toys or healthy treats for your pup. It costs about $20 a month with a 6 month or 12 month plan. So if you’re coming up empty handed on what to get your four legged best friend for the holidays, Barkbox will be a lovely surprise for under the tree and for months after. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

As for the cat owners out there, the forever classic scratch post to save your curtains is a great gift for you kitten. As most people know, cats are either easily entertained or not interested at all. For those cats that go after the zipper on your jacket, the simple string on a stick will have you and your cat entertained for hours.
