It is that time of year again! The leaves have fallen and the crystal white, cold snow is coming. The first time (this year) snow fell in Michigan was on October 21 in the upper peninsula of Michigan, according to CBS Detroit.
Here in the lower peninsula, slowly, light snow is falling and the students and staff of Walled Lake Central hope it’s here before Christmas! Senior Emmy McAtamney said, “I’m so excited for there to be snow because I want to get in the holiday spirit and snow would be perfect for that!”
Although there are some people that are dreading the freezing snow falling, most people are excited to start the year off with some toasty hot chocolate and warm gloves.
