The Walled Lake Central Coaches Association (WLCCA) is hosting the WLC Hall of Fame event to honor past athletes.  

A ceremony on February 4, will induct teacher, coach, and athletic director, Stephen Emert; Track and Field, football, and basketball player Roger Ruminski; Sarah Chrzanowski for Swim and Dive and Track and Field; football, basketball, and baseball player John Thomas; and the 1992-93 men’s basketball team into the WLC Hall of Fame.These are honorable athletes from past graduating classes that are worthy of recognition.

Choosing the right people to be honored was a difficult for the coaches to agree on due to all the talented athletes that had to be considered. “There were so many great candidates to chose from this year which made the decision difficult, but at this time, we have chosen the right group to honor,” said Coach Joel Sharpe. This event is said to be a great way to honor our best student athletes, coaches, and teams from previous graduating classes.
Tickets will be sold at the door for $5 and it will take place in the Walled Lake Central Gymnasium.
