The iconic couple, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, are finally back together after three years.

The duo was together for five years and then engaged for another year before Hemsworth broke it off in 2013. Hemsworth told GQ Australia that, “At the time we were going in different directions and it’s just what needed to happen. We were both super young and we both needed it at the time.”

Cyrus and Hemsworth met on the set of The Last Song in 2009 and in 2010 they went public with their relationship at the Oscars event. But in the years of 2010 and 2011 they two were on and off with the relationship due to their busy work schedules. Hemsworth confessed how happy he was with Cyrus, and a couple months later, Hemsworth popped the question.

The couple was happily engaged until Paris Hilton accused Cyrus of cheating on Liam with Ed Westwick. Cyrus denied the accusation on twitter but rumors of the couple’s break up had already began. In 2013 it was confirmed that the engagement was off.

In early 2016 Cyrus and Hemsworth were seen at parties together and Cyrus was posting pictures of her representing her ex with a Hemsworth t-shirt. Rumors about the couple getting back together began and were later confirmed when Cyrus posted a picture with her engagement ring on. After Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got divorced, fans needed some good news, and Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth getting back together gave it to them.
“I was definitely happy after hearing the good news because they are so cute together,” said sophomore Lydia Joy. “It’s great, they’re adorable. I think it doesn’t really matter what other people say, they should just keep doing them as long as they’re happy,” said freshman Lexi Yenglin.
