Trying to work around the holidays

All the snow on the ground, holiday music,and cheerful people is a reminder that the holidays are quickly approaching and businesses are getting busier. This is both good and bad for employees. Sales and customers double in numbers and work hours become longer.

Volunteering at WLC

Typically, when people think of volunteering they think of something that is good but very time consuming or difficult. Volunteering doesn’t have to be difficult though and many WLC students are finding it to be fun instead. Whether you are volunteering for NHS or just helping out around the community volunteering is very important to the Walled Lake community.

Band’s trip to Grand Nationals

Walled Lake Central’s Marching Band headed down to Indianapolis on November 10, 11 and 12 to attend the Bands of America [BOA] Grand Nationals, a competition held for Marching Bands across the country, and returned with lots of experience and fun memories.

WLC Walk Out

In the days following the election of Donald Trump, Americans have been reacting to this in various ways. Some have been celebrating and some have been at home sitting in their sorrows. There have been anti-Trump riots and protests throughout the country. Even other countries are afraid for America after seeing the results of the presidential election.

Stay safe by driving sober

It is Homecoming night and everyone is pumped to take pictures, dance with friends, and to attend the after party. It is high school, everyone is bound to make mistakes, to make wrong decisions, and to learn from them. Unless it is too late.
